BOMONTİADA EVENT SPACE

Architecture

A New Urban Life

Located within the historic fabric of the Bomonti Beer Factory, the Courtyard has gradually lost its intended public permeability due to changes made during the initial restoration process—particularly the closure of the passages connecting the hotel and commercial buildings. As a result, it has become an underutilized, enclosed space, lacking in lighting, seating arrangements, and social interaction. Yet, the site holds strong collective memory rooted in the social culture of the former Bomonti Beer Garden, once a vibrant gathering space.

REVITALIZING

URBAN MEMORY

The courtyard is reclaimed as an open and inviting public realm — a contemporary interpretation of the urban garden shaped through a unified landscape language. New paving, planting, lighting, and seating elements transform the space into a collective ground for everyday public life.
